Here's a conundrum for you: what does a fashioniser do to keep up with denim trends given that ripped jeans may leave them chilly throughout Autumn 2009 / Fall 2009 and shan't again be practical until Spring 2010? Simple. Patch them. Or, even simpler, follow the lead of the fashion forwards and invest in a pair of pre-patched jeans.

The boyfriend blazer has yet to reach the same levels of popularity as the two fashion trends which influenced it: boyfriend jeans and the boyfriend shirt. Which, for it, is a good thing. While the boyfriend shirt and denim trends have reached commonality and, thus, aren't considered trends anymore, the boyfriend blazer has found new sophistication and will be with us as a part of 2010 fashion trends. Interfilere's Colour Trends Spring/Summer 2010
Interfiliere have released a massive selection of colours for their fashion colour trends report for Spring / Summer 2010. It looks as though we're in for a very green-based season with the a wide variety being featured in the palette; though also prevalent are pinks, blues, browns and even a neon green (of which we are not particular keen).
Capes, capelets and cloaks: 2010 fashion trend
Capes. Say the word, and images of masked superheros mid-flight are what immediately pops into many people's minds.
But capes and cloaks have existed, in one variety or another, through much of our known human history. From early Medieval mantles, to 16th century decorative shawls; from military officers capes and 1940s fur stoles, to the fringed ponchos of the 1960s. But since the humble poncho had its hippie revival, the cape in its more sophisticated forms has seen nothing of a major comeback on the streets - that is, until now. The cape is back on the agenda as one of the major 2010 fashion trends.
